Overview
The VA Quality Enhancement Research Initiative (QUERI)
was launched in 1998. Its mission is to translate
research discoveries and innovations into better
patient care and systems improvement. QUERI is
founded on the principle that practice needs should
inform VA's research agenda, and research results
should identify interventions that improve the
quality of patient care. Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) is
one of ten conditions selected to be part of the
QUERI effort.
